:D It's hard to go wrong with most of the classical composers, but there are just so many of them that I get discouraged with trying to find SOMETHING. Chopin is as good of a place to start as any! ♥ THANKS!
Eh, he's got plenty of violin stuff. And if it wasn't originally violin, he's well-known enough it's been transposed into a key and pitch easier for us to play. ;)
ME TOO. And ooh, I should check him out! I like violin/viola/cello best for listening, but I've always had a soft spot for piano too! Thanks for the rec. <3
Lol that's okay. I don't have much either. Wait. That's a lie.
KRONOS QUARTET. They're really good, especially the album where they play Philip Glass's stuff, especially String Quartet no 3: Mishima, especially the movement Blood Oath. LOL HOW SPECIFIC CAN I GET :D But that's one of my all-time favorite string pieces. And Itzhak Perlman plays a mean violin, most especially if you're at all into klezmer music. He did an album called Live in the Fiddler's House, or something, and every peice just blows me away!
Haha okay that's enough of my ranting about classical music for tonight.

Also, Vitamin String Quartet does awesome classical covers of famous songs. U2, The Killers, RHCP, Radiohead, Placebo - tons of stuff. I love them.
Oh shoot, violin? Not sure.
