I'm still struggling with words on all this. I can't figure out how to say thank you to everyone who worked on this project. "Thank you" seems completely inadequate

A friend I knew in college, Judah White, died last year of Hodgkins Lymphoma.
I myself had a melanoma two years ago... I was SO extremely lucky that it turned out to be a superficial spreading melanoma, meaning it was only in the outer skin layer, so once they removed it, it was gone for good.
But it is an eerie feeling to know that something you didn't even know was there could have killed you.
And you are right, in your previous post. They spend too much time publicizing breast cancer. Not that it's not important to get the word out there, but the incidence of prostate cancer in men, from my understanding, is much higher than the incidence of breast cancer in women... and men aren't nearly so good about doing something when there could be something wrong, or getting regular check-ups!
Anyway, take care, and I hope you are/have recovered (physically anyway) fully. (I've only just come across your story, so not sure exactly where you're at).

That being said...
I know at a gut level what it means to be dependent on medicine to survive.
I know all about chronic illness and pain.
I know all about insurance run-around to have those meds.
So how could I not take the King's shilling for this project?
Be well. :>
