[Have your first victim. She's just as surprised as he is that he suddenly appeared in front of her. ...That'll become clear when she just walks right into him, too]

[Suddenly kunai!

Disoriented and not fond of being taken by surprise, Itachi spins on his heel and aims the point of his weapon at the woman's throat.]

...You?

[And there's a rather stiff piece of paper in the way of his kunai, between its point and her throat, held gently between her fingers]

Me? What're you doing ambushing me?

[He pulls back, returning the small weapon to his sleeve.]

I had meant no such thing.

[This makes twice now, and Itachi still isn't prepared for it. He spins to face her, kunai drawn again, but doesn't immediately attack.

When she makes no move toward him, he frowns and returns the kunai to his clothing.]

Quite. [This is only the second time it's happened to him, but he's sure if it continues to happen he'll be having similar sentiments.]

[Oh snap. This will of course lead to teleporting right in her pathway, right when she's already moved to take the next step.]

[By now, Itachi's beginning to believe this is something Luceti's responsible for and is a little more prepared. This doesn't keep him from running into her, however.]

Ah. Excuse me.

[She only regains her balance after grabbing his arm a little too forcefully. Sorry, Itachi, she wasn't really listening. She lets go and crosses her arms.]

Sorry about that.

[He'll ignore that bit of grabbing for now.]

No apology necessary.

[ On the street, you say? Hughes does happen to need to make a trek back home from earlier shenanigans.

...he takes the stumbling-into in stride. ]

Good afternoon!

[Itachi straightens himself out, unable to help looking irritated.]

[ How would he feel about bumping into an equally blind (or less blind, wutevs) ninja? That may in fact be his bro. :D ]

[...

....

This was not how he'd been hoping this meeting would go. His sharingan flares to life as he takes in the teen's chakra, making certain it really IS his brother. Though this is unnecessary. He doesn't even need his sight for that.

He steps back, expression falling blank.] There you are, Sasuke.

[ Sasuke reactions to the voice, ages upon ages late, and... stares, as best he can anyway.

He's encountered Itachi in Luceti before, so it's not altogether surprising (even if it's unnerving and jarring) he's come back, but... somehow it feels a little weirder after what he's been through. Both back home and in this place. ] ... Itachi?

[Sasuke was surprised to see him - not too surprising given that he'd stayed off the journals for the most part and filtered the spoken entry he'd made.

How he'd react to seeing Itachi alive, he had no idea. What Naruto had mentioned before only made the outcome that much more unknown, but he'd have to prepare himself for any response.]

Have you put me so far out of your mind that you no longer recognize me, little brother?
