I should have clarified! I'm not cutting out carbs altogether OR severely limiting them. Just avoiding bread (my weakness - I could eat bread all day), substituting whole wheats in my bread and pasta, etc. Basically I've been eating yogurt with granola for breakfast, a small salad for lunch, and then a good dinner - lean meats with veggies/salad, etc. I'm going to look into things more - how many carbs I need (I did a test figure on a site and it said around 180, whereas I've been aiming for about 140, so I might be a little low.) I'm going to learn, and adapt. :) I'm using Splenda in my sweet tea, staying away from soda and too much sugar, and Lord help me, I can't bring sweets into the house ( ... )

Also, I looked into the Atkins diet a little bit. JESUS. Ludicrous is right.

Spent some time on the site you linked to - I knew there were "good" and "bad" carbs but the site has a lot of great info and was very educating. Basically I'm focusing more on the good - or trying to. I know I may not do everything right, but I'll stumble along and get there.

Cause yeah, the last thing I want to do is be eating the wrong things, having no energy, and wasting my workouts!
