tbh, what I think when I see Sophie Turner's face is SADGFHVHJABFKFL THAT IS NOT FAIR. She's 16 and pretty much the most gorgeous person ever and, like, what is that about?

Really, though, I've been wanting to write a 20's!au for SOMETHING for as long as I've lived, and ever since reading The Diviners by Libba Bray earlier this year (it's young adult fiction, which I don't usually read that much, except when it's by Libba Bray and about SUPERNATURAL FLAPPERS) it's only been a matter of time.

IKR? She's fantastic. I've never read the Gemma Doyle series, but she wrote an awesome book a few years ago about a kid who gets mad cow disease and has adventures and then The Diviners came out a few months ago and I was like WOW OKAY THIS IS EVERYTHING I'VE EVER WANTED. I even went to her book signing at a D.C. bookstore pretty close to me in, like, September (?) and met her and everything. She's super charming and adorable and a great speaker.

Anyway, I seriously recommend it. Plot-wise, it's about your basic teen fantasy murder mystery, but the setting is really well-researched and the characters are THE BEST.
