"Yosh! Minna, we're closing the store now!" A woman, owner of the small department store, exclaimed, clapping her hands as if that will make them leave.

"Demo, we're still looking at what we need!" She smiled and sighed.

"Hurry up with it!" The light suddenly turned off.

"Oi... This isn't funny!" A mother yelled as her child began crying.

"Eh? Why's our power out? Did the fuse pop?" The owner asked herself while looking at the outside window, noticing the street lights are still on. One of the men in the store looked outside as well and his eyes widened in horror.

"What is that?!" He yelled backing away from the window. The owner ran to the back along with the man and the mother. They looked outside bewildered, until the glass broke and a dark, ominous, black cloud surrounded them, cutting their skin while at the same time, going inside their corpse. The demons rested inside the bodies until it was time to leave. They even rested inside the innocent child...

A demon stepped on the glass in a human corpse. He smirked satisfied and left in a dark cloud.

A young, beautiful girl and handsome, but elder, man sat in a train. Waiting for their stop to Tokyo to visit a few accomplices. And a grave. The girl's hair reaches to her mid back, but to prevent it from moving everywhere; she ties it up and in a tight pony tail, but not so high. Her bangs nearly covered her right eye, giving her, what seems to be, a blind spot. But that's how her hair always has been. This is the second time in two years they arrived to Tokyo for two years without being seen by locals. "Next Stop. Shibuya, Tokyo." They both stood up and walked towards the exit. They carried only a duffel bad, but filled with all sorts of weapons, holy water, everything a Hunter needs. That's right, they're Hunters. And by now you should know who they are...

"Miruki, I'm going to meet with Tsubasa. Take care." He says, taking her duffel bag. As prepared, she carries a gun and stake everywhere she goes.

Utsumi Miruki has returned to Tokyo. She is now 16 and her features have certainly changed, but not enough as to you can't recognize her at all. Her clothing changed from her long over coat to a hoodie, but with a zipper. Her top from a belly button shirt to a camouflage tank top with a tight fishnet under it. Her bottom clothing was from capris to brown hiking shorts and on her belt was like a pocket, like the ones you see in Final Fantasy games, and inside that belt pocket was holy water. For shoes, instead of her old buckle boots, she traded it for ankle boots. Her hoodie was tight and long enough to hide her gun and stake. Her facial lost some of its baby fat, but she still has some to prove that she is still quite young. Her wounds from two years ago have already healed perfectly; due to good use of medication and a nice rest. Even though she is still fighting demons.

She has been with Rai this whole time and what they have been doing was simply hunt down demons and Controllers. When they came against a god, Rai would take care of it, but Miruki is the one who ends up killing all the ones they've faced. No one has heard from Miruki since she left. And trust me, they have been worried.

Actually, everyone who went up against her or have been her partner in helping to stop the calamity have been wishing to see her one last time. And to hope she's alright. Even Tegoshi Yuya has stopped his hatred for her. Well, his hatred had stopped on the night she told him thank you.

Ai and Tegoshi are no longer together; she has moved away to study in London while he is still in school, trying to get into Waseda University. But he would always have the time to think about Miruki and her last words to him...

"I would like a bouquet of flowers..." She said, hiding her face under her hoodie and bangs.

"Ah, who's it for?" She asked, getting the flowers ready.

"It's for... A grave." Miruki said solemnly.

"Ah, gomenasai..." The woman said with her hand over her mouth. "If you don't mind me asking... When?"

"...Two years ago on this day..." Miruki looked away, as if to show that she almost cried, although she didn't, due to the emotionless state she's in. The bouquet was handed to her and she paid for it, walking to her sensei, no, her father's grave.

"Matte..." The woman began, once the girl left. "Two years ago today... There was a battle taking place for a girl... Was that her?!"

Miruki set the flowers on Masashi's grave. Miruki placed her fingers over his name and went on her knees to bow. She then clasped her hands together and prayed silently for him. Sensei... Onegai, tasukete. Continue to guide me with your strength, and continue to live happily with Kisaki-san... She stood up standing there just to reminisce everything with him. "Oi, dare?" She turned around to face a familiar face. Two familiar faces.

"What are you doing here?" They looked at each other and Miruki strangely.

"I'm the one who had to cremate his body..." The girl, who seems to be Miruki's age, looked closely at Miruki. Her eyes widened, and dropped her flowers, running to her.

"Miruki!" The girl hugged her tightly, and Miruki was simply confused. "Miruki! It's me! Ikuno Sachi!" Miruki's eyes widened, at the recognition of her name. This Sachi is different; her hair was longer, but not in pigtails. Her clothing was a little more punkish lolita, and she was slightly wearing eyeliner. Miruki then looked up at the male, who held the same surprised expression. It quickly softens when he smiled.

"Okaeri, Miruki. It's Koki..."

Miruki walked back to the hideout underground, but took the short cut instead of the safe route. Sachi and Koki tried to convince her to come with them to see everyone again, but refused and is now on her way to meet Tsubasa once again and have an illegal drink. Miruki sighed, her hands in her pockets. Kuso... This is going to be a mess when I leave again... Miruki took a turn at the corner and bumped into someone familiar. He grabbed her hand before she fell and she looked up to see who helped her. Only to nearly have her eyes pop out. Her lips slightly trembled and all the feelings washed up into her again. Yuya-san... His eyes widen immediately at the recognition of her. "M-Miruki?!" She quickly snatched her hand away and ran, fast. Thank kami-sama that she was able to escape that one. She quickly opened the secret entry in the hideout, which is now officially a Hunter's bar/hotel. The door changed to a metal covered salt; as did the walls. One hundred percent ghost and demon proof. Miruki sat down at the bar, the other Hunter's looking at her strangely, and surprised.

"Hey little girl, I think you got the wrong bar." One of them said, laughing. Miruki glared at them and scoffed.

"Oi, where's Rai?" She asked, and they stop laughing immediately.

"Miruki?" She nodded facing the two men. They begin laughing again. "You have grown up, haven't you? Oh, and Rai already left with Tsubasa to talk about something. Probably a new lead..." Miruki's ears perked and gave them her full attention. "Sorry, don't know where they left to. Oi! Kato!" Miruki looked up at the boy, who was probably the same age as Tegoshi. "Give this girl a drink."

"Nande? Oi, Tsubasa will kill me if he finds out I let a trainee drink." Miruki glared at him, her eyes dark.

"Tch, you know nothing boy. This girl ain't no trainee no more! This girl is a Hunter!" He arched his brow looking at her.

"What are you all saying? She's what? Only 16; she's too young to be a Hunter now!" Miruki jumped over the counter, tripping the bartender, a gun now up to his face.

"Does it seem like I'm a trainee now?" She put her gun on safety and jumped back to her seat. Kato slammed a beer in front of her annoyed. She stared at the jug.

"Aren't you gonna drink it now?" He asked, laughing, nearly un-sober. Miruki remained a bit silent.

"Did he... spit it in?"

"For some reason, the Trickster wants to kill Miruki badly." Tsubasa said, in a dark isolated room where even the strongest demon won't be able to hear them. "And that reason is because of her father, her real father." Rai looked up and took a sip of sake, listening to Tsubasa. "Her father was Tachibana Yamase." Rai perked up. Tachibana Yamase was known to be a great Hunter, able to kill a god, yes a god, quite easily. He retired meeting his wife and settled down having a daughter. Miruki.

"Miruki's the daughter of the God Hunter?" Tsubasa nodded, leaning back on his chair. "Heh, I was wondering why Miruki was able to excel so fast with her age." Rai scoffed taking another sip of the throat burning alcohol. "But I thought it was Masashi..."

"Bobby was wrong." Tsubasa said, sighing sadly. "Tachibana must be disappointed in himself." Rai raised an eyebrow.

"Why would that be? His daughter’s a strong Hunter."

"Would you want your daughter to be hunting demons for the rest of her life?"

"I guess not. But hell, what do I know? I can’t have kids."

"Neither will she; she’s never going to see her children grow up." Rai looked away.

"You have to remember, Tsubasa, that she is still only 16."

"And we have to remember that she is going to remember everything even if she does retire. At the most 60." Rai scoffed and poured himself another cup.

"She’s a strong girl."

"Who was trained at the age of seven."

"By Masashi." Tsubasa stood up.

"You still don’t get it!" He yelled, angry. "Miruki still has her whole life ahead of her yet she spent the most memorable years of her life killing damn demons! We began our lives knowing how to live like a human being! Miruki will never get that!" Rai almost laughed.

"You don’t remember what happened two years ago, do you, Tsubasa?" Tsubasa stared at him like he is an idiot.

"I remember that night perfectly."

"Then you should know that Miruki had learned all she needed to be human."

"Uso!" Ryosuke slammed his palms down on the table in the karaoke club. But everything was silent and no one was singing. Sachi and Koki told everyone the news.

"After two long years... She's finally back and well... Yokatta..." Anna, now a student in Meiji University, placed her hands in prayer and covered her nose and mouth.

"Demo, she didn't come here... Doushite?" Sachi sighed.

"I don't know... It looked like she was in a hurry though..." Everyone stayed silent, they met her only once, yet they feel so close to her.

"She's... not going to leave again, is she?" Ryosuke asked, worried. Tears sprung from Sachi's eyes, about to ruin her eye liner.

"She most likely is..." It's ruined.

Rai came inside their room, to find Miruki sleeping soundlessly and deeply. Rai sighed and sat on his bed to watch her sleep. Usually, Miruki would have jumped and aim her gun at Rai. But whenever she comes to the hideout, she is simply knocked out. The slightest squeak would usually wake her up, a weapon in her hand. But here, she knows she's safe no matter what. The hideout is truly a place where she's at peace. Rai moved the hair from her face, and sighed sadly. He leaned towards Miruki silently hoping not to wake her up, and whispered oh so quietly. "You really have no idea how truly special you are... Revive your strength now, Daughter of the God Hunter..."

On the outskirts of Tokyo, it began... The beginning of a new battle awaits...

Miruki takes a sip from her jug while watching the news with the other Hunters. They watch it intently, only one reason to why they are. Demons. Demons in human corpses, terrorizing the small town just outside of the city they're in. "Why are these people going mad?! What is going on in this town!? Sunahara?!"Screams were heard everywhere as the demons continued to act inhuman and kill the small town. A glass broke suddenly and their heads turned to Miruki, who crushed the handle of the jug she was given. Her hand began bleeding and Tsubasa was bandaging her hand.

"Hack!"

"Sunahara!! We have no clue what's wrong with everyone! They're attacking the whole area!! And their on their way to Shibuya!!"

"Arigato...." Miruki said, as he bandaged it.

They all know what's going on. Demons have been declaring war, and this is another battle to fight. "Miruki, you ready?" Tsubasa asked, while she stood up walking to her room, a minute later, with her duffel bag, and gun at hand.

"Hai."
