Now that's what I call a weekend. New experiences, new people, and a hell of a lot of fun.

So there's the nice sedate run up, forgoing Sausage on Wednesday for the comforts of food and an early night, Thursday was spent at work, for a surprisingly easy day, and then... Thursday night. Damage. Bloody hell. So ikklebabyj and archenemy888 (lovely to meet you) come over ( Read more... )

Fuck, wish I'd caught more of your sets. Flitting as usual.

And goddamn, go team. Should have taken all of Friday off and come to Damage by the looks of it... Had been talking to Fran about bringing her to Nightmare, then she goes and turns up a night early instead. *shrug*

As per greeba, I really should have caught more of your sets!

What's that mix of Refused, btw? Not come across that one before.

Good to meet you, anyway :)

Haha, the 'Fight Club' mix? It's something I did on Acid Pro about 18 months ago. It was inspired by the 'Bottomley' remix (Mike Bottomley, Rock City DJ, and his appearance on the Weakest Link) that gets played sporadically in Rock City. My version needs a lot of polishing, but I'm pleased with most of it.

Rock music doesn't give me a huge scope when it comes to mixing 'proper', so I like sampling and mashups, makes some old favourites that bit more interesting when you hear them for the hundredth time.

As you were trying to keep me on the dance floor, you'd be interested to know that on a normal night, I'd have been there for eight tracks. Gutted to have missed the et9. But anyway, yes, the three I lost myself to couldn't have come at a better time, so thanks.

You, Stu and Vicki, then later Ali, and I consider eight to be a good score :)
