Got down to the RockSoc meeting earlier and confirmed I will be DJing the next Assault (11th November). Made some plans for the next few days, due to a cock up on my part (being unable to read dates) things went

chris has already made our gig an official rocksoc event, and all of the nightmare crew are going. Even Jon said it was gonna be an afterparty. New york DJ, good band, etc etc

No, me and Jon said you guys are welcome to turn up afterwards, there's a difference between that and it being The Afterparty, if you follow me. It's our party, you're just turning up later. As for the RockSoc, I've certainly told Pervy Tom about it, if not Chris as well.
