that's exactly what I did with an extra 1500 that could have gone to rent! I didn't go with apple though, i got a Medion laptop from bestbuy. I like it so far.
if you're in town and happen to get bored, you should give me a call and we could hang out. ...and um, you know do the lame stuff hanging out entails....and you can get the OC if you still want it. :)
