My Animal Planet idol, Steve Irwin the Croc Hunter, died the other day during filming in the Great Barrier Reef when a stingray pierced his heart with its poisonous stinger.

The world is down one crazy guy. And I'm really gonna miss him.

PS: The irony that a croc didn't finish him off is the real kicker.

I'm suprised they didn't release the footage of him getting stung. Its something the American media would love to show over and over and over again.

I heard that the Discovery channel had (I think it was at 8) a tribune to him. Sadly, I don't have cable, and couldn't watch it =(
