What was I going to write here? Umm...McCain's speech was not even a third as good as Obama's...he didn't actually talk about anything...I spilled whiskey and ginger ale on myself...

These are the results of the RNC drinking game. I would write the rules down, but I don't think I'm up for that right now.

I think his speech tried to lull me into a coma.

It was mind numbing! He said lots of things that sounded nice but were essentially meaningless, and mentioned god a bunch of times. And he's married to an escaped Stepford Wife. Everyone chants "USA! USA!" for some inexplicable reason. And....just....Sarah Palin. That says enough on its own. Ugh.

McCain as president I would hate but I'd live through. It with Palin as VP I'd be too scared to sleep, in case I woke up to find McCain died.

I love how they didn't mention how he came back from Veetnam (as he calls it) and decided his wife who waited for him wasn't good enough, so he cheated on her multiple times until he found Cindy. Just glazed over that. He's also called Cindy a cunt. Fun times.

Family values and sanctity of marriage this ticket is NOT.

He also uses the word "gook", and tells jokes about women enjoying being brutally raped...by gorillas.

I mean this has nothing to do with policy, of course. But if you're running on character, which is what he's doing, your character maybe shouldn't be a sexist, racist jerk.

I don't think the main focus is even on McCain's speeches anymore. It's all about what Palin's going to do next. Which so far has been nothing but "Rar, I don't like Obama, IraqIraqraaaaarrrrrrrrrrr, did you know he's a POW? I'M A WOMAN LIKE HILLARY USED TO BE."

I miss the old McCain, who had a sense of humor and didn't speak 100% like another talking head.

I didn't realize that Hillary is no longer a woman.

Anyway, I don't care where the focus is...even though it is all on Palin like you say. Thats completely fucked up though. Its a circus. McCain should have to answer for his vague, unsettling yet somehow also pointless speech.
