It makes me squirm when that words used, it feels too much like playing gender games

and to be honest my experience has been of being honest and open, of gaining girlfriends because we both enjoyed each others company.

i bet you asked most dykes about our experiences of meeting our girlfriends and it would be one of she was cute and I chatted to her and we ended back and my/her/their/our place and...

I hear ya x_mass, but I respect what she's trying to do. I think you assumed it was going to be a film that spoke primarily to men/chasers/heterosexuals/etc. I imagine (i hope) that's not the case, and that it will seek to educate all potential partners about the hazards and awesomeness not exactly of dating transwomen persay, but that transwomen have with other people and thus how to be a better partner.

I mean, my relationships with women have been pretty damn open but have you never had a girlfriend nearly kill some straight dude for fucking up your pronouns? I haven't really dated anyone who wasn't openly queer/feminist identified but there has still plenty of crazy, odd and awesome moments.
