shaddowshoes has been working a great many sound gigs for a band called Behan. Actually, I think it's supposed to be written all in uppercased letters, but...do you see me not doing that ( Read more... )

*lol* Sounds a bit like our house at times.

We found an animated piece of thread, then realized it had to be a baby snake trying not to expire on our bathroom floor. Could only have been brought in on one of the cats. I re-hydrated it inside a paper cup, upon which it (he?) looked much happier. So then we took it out and released it onto one of the wet stones by the pond. Went back and it was gone, hopefully happily into the water and not down the gullet of one of said toads.

That's me, rescuer of odd critters.

I once had a cat who tried to hide a snake in a wound-up guitar cable.

She was a devotee of Bast, and as a result needed to perform regular sacrifices. Fortunately, we had a dog at the time clever enough to be trained to clean up her offerings.

sometime last week, Les and i went to great lengths to keep a tiny gecko from becoming a cat toy. he didn't hesitate to jump up and help me.

Very sweet. Of course, I probably think so because trotfox would do the same. I can imagine there are some ladies who would find it less than sweet.

I've a certain fondness for most crawly things. As long as it'll not poison me, I'm usually keen on it. We encourage geckos to hang about the house (well, so long as they don't attempt to sell us things, 'cos that's annoying) as well. I think we've chased one or two of them out of the bar.

Rats...in all honesty, I prefer pet rats to the wild ones.

I've got an uneasy truce with Shpydahs - providing they're neither poisonous nor crawlling on me. Cicadas have got six legs, and I love to hear them sing; they've also got pleasant buggy faces. Ants, I do not like.
