I never want to see David Beckham in tears again, because it makes me incredibly depressed! I'm not going to lie, I cried after Portugal beat England yesterday, possiby because I knew Portugal played better and because Wayne Rooney is a douche.

Oh geez, don't get me started on the England match, you should see how sad people are here! Still, I don't think either team was playing terribly well, and it just came down to Portugal's goalie playing better than Robinson. Also I can't really blame Rooney for getting pissed off; I probably would've been the same after some of the ridiculous claims at injury the Portuguese were constantly making. Oh well, maybe next time!

Ricardo was a brilliant goal keeper in that match.

I agree that Rooney's red card was ridiculous, but the whole reason he even got the red card was because of his temper. At first it was just a foul, until he started screaming at the ref. Anyhoo, he also clearly jabbed that guy in the nuts.

I can't even imagine how much the English drank yesterday. Thank goodness they watch the matches in the pubs, so they don't have to go searching for the healing power of alcohol.

The Devil Wears Prada is actually really good...Meryl Streep is genius, and the movie is entirely watchable as long as you expect nothing from Anne Hathaway's acting skills.

It was pretty darn good! I loved Meryl Streep so much, and I think she just played that role to perfection.

I've decided that I want those clothes, but not the lifestyle!

Hmmm. Tough one to call. I'm rooting for Germany, personally. If Klose and Podolski can find each other on the field and Ballack can pick up his game they should do very well. Not to mention they're playing on home turf.

I think both teams are really good, so I guess it depends on how well both teams play in this match.

P.S. I don't think I've ever gotten a comment from someone I didn't know or who wasn't a friend of a friend or something! This is a first!!!

Well... I searched some people that had World Cup as an interest, and your name came up! Randomly, I crashed your LJ. :) I'll be pulling for Italy, though I agree with you that Germany as host nation will be quite a force. And Klose is a stud.

I know that we, along with millions of others, will find ourselves in front of a TV at the same time. It'll be fun.

Crashing LJs = good times! I do it quite often!

I love the idea that so many people around the world are watching the matches at the same time, too! Let's see how this one goes!
