Lucy wasn't sure who's idea it was to go sailing on the Treader and have a picnic afterward. Only that it was a very good idea, and that she'd woken up early that morning to go to the kitchen and make sandwiches and the like. Between the sisters they'd plenty of food for after the trip, not that they went very far or out for very long. Just long enough to enjoy the way she rolled over the water; the wind refreshing even in the heat of the day. Long enough for her stomach to start grumbling from hunger as they approached the dock again, leaving Lucy to wonder if anyone would notice if she helped herself to a sandwich or too before they finished their trip.
