Hey everyone, I'm new to live LJ so if I get something wrong please let me know so I can correct it. (Can someone tell me how to hide the links under a fic title?) Anyway, thanks for letting me join and I offer up a couple of YA fanfics. Looking for a beta reader if anyone has the time.

Interesting stories, all of them, but your dialog is kinda stiff.

Yeah...I don't have anyone to bounce my stuff on, which is why most of my fics are in the style of New Year's Day and An Outsider's Point of View. I don't know how to do the give and take with different personalities and get a needed point across. That's the main reason I had so much trouble with The Stages. I'm working on it.

I find it helps to read the dialogue out loud to yourself. Also, contractions are your friend.

Cool, thank you for your help. I'll try that before I post anything else up.

The contractions thing is aimed at the Rule 1 Marriage fic, yes? I was trying to get at an "Imperial" feel and didn't know how to go about doing it, still don't, and thought it would help. I want to revisit the "Teddy: Ruler of the Skrulls" idea at some point, but I'm not sure how to do it. But now I know not to try this method again.

I read Stages of Courtly Love and enjoyed it very much. Seeing how the stages worked into Teddy's point of view was cool.

Yeah, I saw it on the Interwebs and was all "OMG, the story is ploted FOR me!". That may be the reason why it's so long.

These stories are great. Am I correct in assuming they take place in the same "verse"??

I would love to see more stories that explore the YA and their regular lives...

Thanks, and yes they are.
I have a few other ideas for their "regular" lives but I'm not sure if they would translate well, so I'm looking them over w/ the helpful suggestions from fullmetal_cute before I post them. Also have a lot of typos I need to go back and correct from the already posted fics.
