Well, Secret Invasion YA had them meeting the Runaways again and a spy of some sort (fuzzy on the details) going after Teddy. I can show you it.

For Mighty Avengers, I didn't see too many of the issues, but from what I've picked up, Amadeus Cho may have a little crush on Cassie or at least like her in some way and Vision is always by Cassie's side. Cassie was stressing over thinking Scarlet Witch was back and evil but she couldn't tell anyone.

Thank you! I didn't know about Cho's crush, that's cute.

In Mighty Avengers, Cassie mostly stood around sighing for the most part. During their attack on the Baxter Building, she helped Val, Franklin and Sue get out. She then invited the YA over to take on "Scarlet Witch" (Loki in disguise) The thing she did that was most of note in the series was that she providing the recap page in the form of her livejournal blog. That was pretty cute.

Doing this all from memory, so hopefully it's right:

Pre-Young Avengers, I think Cassie visited her dad at Avengers Mansion often - all the Avengers at the time knew her as Scott Lang's kid and know her by name.

Secret Invasion, the Young Avengers met up with Nick Fury in Times Square (I believe) and their story was continued in Secret Invasion: Young Avengers/Runaways. It was mainly a Xavin (of Runaways) story there, though the Skrull were targeting Teddy for being the child that would unite kingdoms (or whatever that storyline is). Billy, Teddy and Tommy broke off to go with the Runaways, while Kate, Cassie, Vision and Eli were in Times Square fighting the main Skrull force, holding them off as best as they could until the rest of the Avengers showed up. Vision got shot in the face, but he got better.

In Mighty Avengers, Cassie and Jonas basically just hung around, the other commenters have pretty much said all there was to be said.

this way on the YA. It's a good link in that there's an overview and it tells how the YA is linked to the Avengers. If you look at the resources at the end and follow the links, there's an essay on YA and how they symbolically relate to the older Avengers, and yet still are their own people. For instance, Billy starts out as Asgard (as an homage to Thor), but moves from that to Wiccan (as an homage to the Scarlett Witch), Teddy as Hulking (the original hulk). The essay explains it so much better than I'm making a hash at here. But the most important thing to note with YA is that as much as they respect the Avengers, and came together because the Avengers were split apart, they are pretty much their own people, and will use their own powers their own way ( ... )

I've read it, just can't remember the specifics enough to summarize. Thank you for the essay links, I hadn't read those.
