Sagramore, as it happens, has been wondering after her, and takes this particular day to poke his head into her room.

"My lady?"

So he goes and comes back with a cloth dipped in cold water, which he applies to her head. "You understand I don't know much more than this."

"Tis more than I do."

[le_desirous]

"Fair enough. But you'd need a proper physician to do things exactly as they should be done."

[youngandhealthy]

"'e told me to get one. Haven't had time yet," she says a bit more faintly.

[le_desirous]

"No, I imagine you haven't. Didn't he offer to get one for you?"

[youngandhealthy]

"Nay, I've not seen him of late. Unless you meant Denis, but he's hopeless, now."

"No, no, whomever recommended you find a doctor. You're not well enough to do it yourself."

[youngandhealthy]

"Oh, no, twas for the baby, not... tis not so serious." Though there's a faint Is it? behind her words.

"No, not if it's seen to rightly. You'll want to keep the fever down--I think I can do that. I suppose if there should be any turn for the worse I can find you someone."

[youngandhealthy]

A smile. "Y'art so kind to me, sir. I was half-afraid I'd seen the last of ye," almost a tease.

"Not me. I always turn up," smiling back.

[youngandhealthy]

"Ah, tis well. Just when I'm in need to looking after, it seems."

[le_desirous]

"You'll have to do me the favour back someday," he says, wiping her forehead with the cloth.

[youngandhealthy]

"La, sir, I don't know what that'd be," she says with a little smile.

A laugh. "However you take it, my lady. It may turn out to be of equal mettle."
