This hasn't been posted here yet, but TYV are playing SXSW festival in March. They're in good company there, because there are a ton of other awesome bands playing too.

SXSW band list. They're towards the very bottom.

Wow, that's fantastic! Should be some good exposure for them.

I really do wonder if this means their album's going to be released sometime soon.

i would think they wouldn't schedule a tour as...nick? put it without having at LEAST a demo to back themselves up with, so i'm hoping the album will be out soon.

aaand now i have to do tweets.

That's what I'm saying! How can you play shows without your music being out there, or a date for it to be out? Maybe February?

it just seems silly to me. then again, if they were handed the opportunity to play (which could have happened) there's no reason for them not to take it. people aren't gonna be familiar with them either way, but having an album/demo to sell would help, i'd think. IDK. they're not too good with updates right now lmao

Lol, yeah except they're also playing the Never Say Never Festival which is like the complete opposite of SXSW, so. Kind of counter-productive.

That list is so ridiculous, I haven't heard of like 7/8ths of the bands on there, wtf. That would be one sucky show, I mean with that many bands. It'd be way too much. Like Coachella -_-

lol, there are bands on there that I would love to see. Also I'm planning on going to Coachella this year.

It's all a matter of opinion, I guess.

I'd like Coachella better I think if it wasn't in the desert. I mean really? Worst place to have a 3 day music festival.

I guess, yeah. But it's not like they can run out of space?

Also, if it wasn't in the coachella desert, then what would they call the festival!?
