I don't think we've met. Mano, is it? I'm Armand St. Just, and I'll be your new warden. I haven't had much time with your file, but if you have the time, I'd like to talk to you a bit.

Mano was still a bit confused about his sudden mood swing... and worried about the aftereffects. He suspected -- all right, feared it too? -- that people had only treated him with kindness since they were under the same influence. What would they do now that they were back to normal?

But he'd been assigned a Warden, so from what he understood it was best that he be prompt in reporting in. A last check of his uniform (cloak still pulled into the hood configuration) and he headed over to the appropriate cabin.

"Reporting in, sir." Mano stated formally, resisting the near-instinct to salute the man.

Armand was entirely surprised at the quick response, but happy. He wanted to do something good for this person. He still wasn't sure why the Admiral kept giving him aliens, but at least this was a male alien, and wasn't likely trying to seduce him to inject him with evil little machines. Armand still had bad dreams about the Borg Queen.

He hurriedly pulled on his coat and picked up Freya, who was always trying to escape, and opened the door. He'd read, but he was completely taken aback by the man's appearance. He blinked and bowed hurriedly to cover his surprise. The overly military correctness of Mano's posture worried him a little. Armand wasn't a fighting man and understood very little of military discipline.

"Come in, Mano. Is there some appropriate honorific? You can call me Armand, but if that's too formal, just... Mister St. Just will do."

Freya squirmed out of his grasp and ran into the bedroom.

"Mano is all I have; I was not granted the privilege of a full name." he admitted, his bearing slumping a bit at that admission. His eyespots widened as Freya ran off. "My apologies? I did not mean to startle the feline."
