Nigel had been attempting to read. He was more or less sober for the moment. He had finished off Helen's bourbon and hadn't rousted himself enough to raid the scotch yet.
His cell phone chirped and startled him. Owen was usually only one of late to send him messages or call. He flipped it open and found the message from Shuichi. He stared at it a long moment before punching he would be over.
He took a moment to clean himself up before heading over to the fox's room. Once there, he paused outside the door and knocked on the door.
He can tell Nigel is there before he knocks, but he waits for it anyway then casually saunters over. Opening the door he gives a smile that is part polite and part comforting as he steps back to allow the chemist in before closing the door again.
Turning around he watches the chemist's reaction to seeing his room for the first time.
Nigel was stunned by what he saw. He stepped in and just stared. "How did you get all of this in here?" he asked. It made his room overrun with book look pitiful.
"I grew it," he states simply. To illustrate his point, he runs a hand over some of the plants along the right-hand wall and uses his energy to make them move- reaching out to twine around his fingers as though filled with sentience.
