Creepy 0.0. When we were housitting once (in a house where I've had other experiences like this since) I had a somewhat similar experience, though this occassion relating to a light. I sitting in bed reading during the evening in the familie's daughter's bedroom, when I heard the light-cord being pulled in the bathroom next door, and realised that the bathroom light was on. I couldn't remember whether the bathroom light had been on before, which it could have been, but like your door, the light cord made a really distinctive noise when pulled, and I heard pretty clearly. In my case I bolted to my mums room (and slept in my mum's room that night) XD
