i made this video for a contest put on by asthmatic kitty. it's repetitive and i've gotten mixed reviews. lesson learned: don't try to animate in one day. that's ok. i did it for the money!!! there is a cash prize, and there are some really great ones. clint did the editing half cut. i don't know how he does it. what a crazy night. never again!

today was 50% off day at Value Village and I work a few blocks from Value Village. fortunately I only had time to try to find a black skirt without holes in it, which I didn't, and managed to talk myself out of buying a large plaid skirt that looks the same as two others I have.

I might go again on Wednesday since they should have new stock, though. but tomorrow I have lunch plans! man are offices boring.

50% off days here are so insane. i have a bad temper so i usually stay clear of them, even when the deals are so huge! the last one i went to i was in gr.9 or something and had a really bad time trying to track down this old tracksuit that i thought was so cool. sigh.

I did like Thirsty's but I didn't really want to buy anything. I did end up buying an owl necklace (which I'm happy about) from an elderly lady... because she was just so damn sweet and I wanted to give her my money. Aaron was pretty serious in there though, he's very meticulous.

I'd totally be into downtown or out the VV/Sally Am out by Polo Park. I'd also be into checking out the Ruby Slipper... have you been there/what do you think of it?

next sat i have another meeting. they happen every last saturday of the month, maybe another weekend? the ruby slipper is great. especially if you want to cut down on the time spent hunting for stuff, it's all there. some things are pricier than others, but they have so many nice vintage dresses in great condition (and also everything else in between like books and vinyl).
