I'm glad you liked. ^_^ Sometimes when we see those flashbacks on Rukia's past, it just seems to be completely pervaded with sadness.

Wow talk about depressing. The worst part is, it's actually true. For an after-life it sure does suck doesn't it.

I really loved the way you briefly walked through Rukia's life and showed each instance of the good turning bad. It really drove the point home. :)

It is depressing - and true. I can't say that the prompt is an especially cheery one, though. It seems especially designed to be sad. Rukia has had abombinable (sp?) afterlife, and everytime she finds something good, there's that hidden bit of darkness that comes around to snatch it from her.
