I actually, physically clutched my heart (the general area, anyway) while I read this, which ought to tell you something about how wonderful it is. Sirius is so infuriating here, and he's just so oblivious, still, to certain things that fall outside his rebellious ex-aristocrat bubble, and I love that you've shown that here so perfectly--without letting him off the hook for it, either. It's so quietly powerful and poignant. A little like your Remus, at that

Thank you so much, I love this comment! I definitely see Sirius as very privilege-blind in this fic and while he has relatively good intentions, there are just things that he doesn't quite get about Remus. And he's so oblivious that he ends up hurting Remus. Thanks so much for reading and commenting.

This left me with a strong feeling of that moment when something begins to go wrong in a relationship... The story has a simple idea - in a good way - and a strong impression, great! Also, I'm jealous of you for being able to keep the point and not put all the things possible into a single short story :)
