that night. the night i saw my first shooting star and danced out in the middle of nowhere to random cds found in the back of a friend's car. eating mcdonalds that he paid for when we got back. the night, out on the blanket when he told me about the stars and how he saw them over the desert and the nearly touched the sand and they went on forever and how he could live forever seeing the stars so differently, always. the way that he held my hand for the very first time and how he grabbed me and kissed me and how the stars are always him. the day that i finally talked to him with icelandic eyes and the way that he makes me laugh inside out, the proper way, not the forced way. the first time i really looked him in the eyes and had nothing to say and he had nothing to say but we didn't part ways when we could have. the night i realized that i didn't have to try and die anymore to truly live.
