I do think Johnny will still "punish" him for getting married even if he told Johnny beforehand. Marriage is not allowed freely for idols in Japan. Otherwise Hiro/Ayaka wouldn't have to leave their agencies right after they got married and Hiro had to retire.

I suspect if he reported earlier like they want him to, both agencies might tell her to get an abortion instead. Maybe Jin had his own reason to go ahead without letting them know because he wanted this baby.

Thank you for this post. I hope it does some good!

As someone who has an unpopular opinion regarding how the recent events have been handled, I've been reminded of just how unwelcoming this fandom is of dissenting opinions. I've seriously considered (more than once in all the years I've been a fan of Jin, but especially in the last week or so) leaving the fandom based on how I've been treated by other fans when my opinions don't match theirs. I definitely believe that this unwelcoming attitude that the fandom as a whole projects is scaring off new/potential fans as well as us old, weathered fans, which is only going to hurt Jin in the end.

Not even just losing current fans, but if I had no idea who Jin was and heard his song on the radio, googled him, and found this fandom as it currently is, I probably wouldn't stick around. And I imagine this is how the general American audience would react.

The fandom is too protective of Jin and think he can do no wrong and they tend to attack/shun those who don't agree. In order for this fandom to grow, this attitude definitely needs to change.

I agree, I think just nonsense coz then it´s fans pushing other fans away, it´s like you are in no mod after feeling dissapointed to be treated badly because you don´t think the same, I think all of us should be more intelligent in that sense, to not push current or new fans away and to actually promote Jin and help him get through this, it´s worst than some pple think, I´ve been lurking in his fandoms, from Europe, Latin America and even USA there´re TONES of pissed fans (dunno Japan), much more than the ones happy or indiferent to this, that, if we don´t count all the ones in Facebook, Arama and twitter...we really need to do something to improve his image right now and actually try to stick together, no matter what our opinion the first thing is for some fans to realize that there´s a problem and then all of us try to fix it together ( ... )

Only Johnny can help him at this point in Japan. I think Warner is doing an excellent job with promoting him here in the US to help him out by pushing SBD through to US radio stations en masse and keep it going with the promotions for Jin's tour.

But we will see how well Johnny can handle this and prove himself to be the genius that he is.

I'm also curious about Jin' "punishment" more than anything. What do you guys think Johnny is going to do? Sometimes I think Jin should leave Johnny's.

I also think if Jin can gain more exposure with mainstream Americans who are not Johnny's fans, he can gain more fans that way.

ahhhh...no...I'm not gonna try to pressure Johnny because I don't like the way Johnny's Jimusho works tbh..

besides I kinda want him to get kicked out of Johnny's for some reason. He doesn't have the attitude to be a Johnny like the others.

Well, from my nick, you could guess that I am Akame fan. But I am a bit Jin bias and not delusional. I just love to see their interaction, luv fan fics and casual shipper. I am married and 32. I have been jin's fan for more than 3 years. My emotion toward Jin 's marriage was Wtf! is it for real? shocked! angry & sad! accepted & calm down after seeing his happy face at narita airport. In my opion, Idol's shouldn't be recklessly doing things. Many people have tied their emotion on their idols. Some fans will said that Idols are human being and they deserved to be happy too. But they have chosen their lives style once they signed up. The popularity came with responsibility. Fan used their hard earned money on idols so at least idols should respect and thoughtful for them. Their decision and behavior can hurt more peoplethan they have thought. Their decision also affect the juniors and industry value. I am worried about other JE idol's life after Jin did something like this ( ... )

she is 95% pregnant with confirmation from her grandmother and the reason they cited for her cancelling all her appearances because of her "physical condition". They don't want to confirm it 100% because they want to be sure after 3mos..

Jin probably knows more about the inner working of Johnny's Jimusho if a girlfriend is pregnant, the agency may tell her to get an abortion since they're both are so young and their careers haven't peaked yet. He always said he wanted babies more than anything. So he's not going to risk them pressuring her to get an abortion. That's my take on this whole thing.
