Well, I'm not going to lie. I'm wicked disappointed I didn't get into the play. I guess it's all fair if Price didn't "see me" in any of the roles, but it still makes me upset. I kind of feel like he betrayed me. I've given my all with him consistently for years, this was my last chance to act under him, and he repays me by not even giving me a ( Read more... )

I love you. I hope you feel better about this whole thing. If I end up doing it, which I sincerely doubt, then I will really really miss you. However, if I quite, I know just the remedy and begins with ghetto and ends in Oliver.

I hope our little time today did you some good. I really like spending time with you. You're a great person and friend, Dorie. Think positive thoughts and know somewhere that this probably happened for a reason. Fate is tricky and it's best to turn all of your negative (or the lot that you can) into a positive.

I hope you feel better, and I'll see you tomorrow. Have a good night and think of our sometime-in-the-near-future-movie-extravaganza to come soon. It'll be filled with fun and laughter (and hopefully Nick's hilariously snide comments towards the idiotic main characters... I love you Nick!).

Sleep well

Dear Dorie,
I am surprised, as you are consistently awesome. Every time I see something SK, I end up thinking, "man, Dorie is so good at this". Emma told me that it's Arsenic and Old Lace, right? See, I think you could pull off a murderous old woman perfectly, but that's my opinion. The one big problem with this play: to my memory, it has like three female roles. Sofuckthat. Go rock at college, lady.
Love, Raechel.

thanks, rae. yeah, there are limited female roles, but then a lot of the smaller roles can be either gender. but whatever. we're doing proof, in addition to another play, at the courthouse this summer, and you should come see it.
Love,
Dorie

my dear poopsie,

the fault lies not with you, but the with the caster. Be it the caster of the destiny dice, or that damn Mr. Price.
