Well, I've been playing more Radiata Stories. (Reading for class? What reading?) Still enjoying it immensely - I've recruited about fifteen of the 177 (!) possible playable characters. I never thought I'd see a game that beat the Suikoden series for number of characters, but sure enough here it is. XD ( Read more... )

so how is Radiata Stories? It seems to be flying under most people's radar... you're one of only two people on my flist who has it and the other person hasn't started yet.

Sadly, knowlege of it seems to be mostly limited to tri-Ace fans. Which is kinda sad, actually, because it's very far from any other tri-Ace game in a lot of ways - no Motoi Sakuraba soundtrack; gameplay that's, well, simple compared to the incredibly deep micromanaging customizing systems of Star Ocean; and a lighthearted, comic plot.

It seems to be tri-Ace quality, though, if you know what I mean. And I highly recommend it - to me, it kind of feels like Threads of Fate meets Suikoden, so if either of those are up your alley, I'd say give it a spin.

Well, I wouldn't exactly say it was her finest work - I wouldn't say The Mummy films were ANYONE's finest work XD - but yeah, she was good in it. I also liked her in About a Boy (not in Sunshine, though, that film was DIRE) and I know I've seen her in other stuff and liked it but can't remember now what it was. x_x
