Why is it that it's only just becoming apparent of how many attention starved people there are out there? Man, I must have gotten out of the wrong side of the bed this morning or something, but all this flagrant attention grabbing is starting to rub me the wrong way ( Read more... )

And it's not like the maps are all that much easier to navigate, either. Oh the amount of frustration I've had in the past couple of days finding an exit but then discovering that it's behind a wall, or a river, or on a walkway above me, or whatever. It's uh, certainly not as linear as it used to be, that's for sure. Might not be so bad once I get used to where everything is.

Ooooh, tell me about it. I like to hop into outposts wherever I can, so I can access that bit easier later. And they're all flipping out of bounds. I haven't done the first mission yet either, coming over from Tyria. I did the first with my Canthan born rit, after much frustration and back and forth in those same three areas, with no outpost to hop into, and endless endless quests. I don't have access to that account in Cantha as of... this morning? But my CE should be here tomorrow \o/

I haven't done the first mission yet with any of my characters either, Tyrian or Canthan. So many damn quests. X_x
Yah, the lack of outposts is kind of annoying. I used to like mindlessly exploring, confident that I'd be able to "save" my progress in an outpost and not have to repeat the journey all over again. :B

Nothing like a couple of kids at Christmas to be overflowing with energy. XD I'm almost jealous of their level of euphoria. :p

You can always get me to come along when I get it. I'd love to have an excuse to explore with people! But, free time is not a luxury I have much of sadly as exams and assesment loom slightly too close on the horizon.

I understand what you mean though, everyone likes to be congratulated by other people but there is a limit to the reasonable amount people should get.

Yeah, time is always an annoying factor. God damn frickin' reality! >_<

Yah, there's definitely a threshold between looking for acknowledgement for a job well done and attention whoring. -_-
