Hmmm. I'm surprised you haven't thought of letting him read Something Certain. It's a time line fic and that might give him a good idea of how/when their relationship started. You wrote in both perspectives - one without a Mao/Jun background would probably be able to understand a little about them from reading this.

You are Beautiful. Why? Because it's AU and it's romantic - show him that Mao/Jun work very well in this genre too.

As for other Arashi members, I'd say The Softest Pillow series, especially Sho...but would that be a problem?

imho I think you should let your boyfriend read You're Beautiful because it was more narrative than dialogue. That fic also does not rely on the fact that readers know Mao and Jun.
