I am warning everyone now I am in bitch mode.

I am so sick and tired of all this bullshit. All I've heard all summer is everyone complaining about how we never hang out and how everything has changed. Well guess what: things DO change. It's a fact of life. Every year the earth rotates on its axis while circling around the sun and people change.

I'm not sure who this is referenced to, but I want to apologize nonetheless. I was definitely one of the people bitching about change this summer. And I have been terrible expecting you, or anyone else for that matter, to call me. I guess I feel like I'm in a different world out here in Huntsville. I do want to see you before you leave because you are amazing to be around and I had so much fun when we did hang out this summer. I guess I don't call people because I'm a loser who has to build up courage to drive..Anyways, I love you. Lots.

I'm pretty sure that this is directed at me (if not all of it, then I'm sure that at least part of it is)... and all I have to say is that I agree. Relationships are completely two-sided. I just wish that people had the nerve to talk about their problems with each other instead of talking behind their backs to other people. I think that's the problem these days..

I had no clue you were leaving so soon.. I'd like to hang out with you sometime before you leave...

Your frustration is totally understandable. I agree, change is not a bad thing, its a part of life and growing up. I'm glad that you feel like college has made you more self-sufficient, I feel like the same has happened for me too!
I would just give your friends time to realize that, and leave home on good terms with them. They'll soon realize that change isn't something to feel sad about, but something to celebrate. How can you experience growth without anything changing?? You've matured a lot, Melissa, and maybe they haven't yet...

You know I agree completely about this. I'm glad someone finaly had the guys to say something about it. I love how over the summer we bonded ever more than in high school, be became true best friends. You, Steph, and Caleb have made my summer very enjoyable, and helped me so much this summer. I'm going to miss you so much when you leave, and I'm also going to miss hanging out just about everyday. Steph and I are really going to try to come visit it you, as planned, and I can't wait to see you over Christmas Break, even if it is just for a few days, before I leave for California!! I love you so very much babe!! I'm sure even being 8 hours away we will still keep our strong relationship successful. MUAH!
