I'm not a guard but I've been thinking this too. I want need to do something to help, and there are plenty of others too, I bet.

It looks like there are some things we just can't do much about, but we need to do what we can.

Yeah. The guard is a small group of people anyway. It's not like it's just one big monster that they have to go up against.

Well, the Guards can't help but do as they're assigned, really. It's like asking the medics to become veterinarians as well.

It's strange, but the idea of supporting a force feels very familiar to me. I'll do what I can for whoever has need of me.

Yeah. You're overworked, and the complaints don't help. They're all right if they're suggesting things, but complaining for the sake of complaining... no.
