Title: Trust Me (Part 1 of ??) (Story 4 of 7)
Rating: PG 13 - R (this part: PG 13)
Pairing: Yoosu
Summery: Hi, Kim Junsu here, I just want to tell you about the week before as well as the day of, my school's talent show. It was quite an... entertaining show all around, as were the events that led up to it. Oh, and don't hate me, but I have kind of been keeping my relationship with Micky a secret... I have good reasons to though, really I do!

A/N: *waves timidly* Hello, Yoosu Community, I'm back with story 4 like I said I would. But ummm.. if this series doesn't impress or interest you, I'll be posting some light Yoosu smut tomorrow, so watch out for that. Enjoy!

Story one found here (It's Yoosu)
Story two found here (It's Jaeho)
Story three found here (It's EunMin)

“It’s out, again.” Junsu, me, looked over at Eunhyuk, waiting for him to elaborate. “I overheard the girls talking in my last block, and they were wondering who YOU are going to ask to prom, then it came up, AGAIN, that Yoochun has been hanging around you a lot lately, as in, more than I do.” He said. Not that he was jealous or anything. He knew I wasn’t replacing him as my best friend. Like I said I would, I had sent Monkey an e - mail explaining to him everything that had happened between myself and Micky during those two days in the second week of school, back in September. Later on, I told him in person that the feelings Micky has for me, are reciprocal. He just hit me on the head and told me that I like girls, duh, remember. But then he saw that I was serious, so he now helps me keep Micky from blowing our new secret. He said that he didn’t mind that I “switched sides” cause that just means that he now has a better chance with the girls in our school.

At the moment we are in the cafeteria, eating lunch, and it is probably not the best place to be discussing something like this. But we’re doing it anyway.

“Prom isn’t till next month.” I said. I never got why girls make such a big deal out of prom. “Plus I didn’t even get invited this year!” It’s Junior - Senior prom, so the underclassmen have to be invited to be able to go.

“Yeah, but they're girls.” Eunhyuk said, as if that explained everything.

“So, what were they saying, exactly?”

“That any guy that would turn down Jung Joo Eun, is clearly gay.” He meant the part where the girls were discussing Micky. Wait, wasn’t that the theory last week, I think the girls are running out of ideas. I smacked my forehead. That’s just peachy. Peachy, peachy, peachy. Before I could smack myself for a fifth time someone stopped my hand by taking a hold of my wrist.

“This is all your fault.” I said to the one holding it, Park Micky Yoochun. He had just come back from grabbing his own lunch. He had a ham and cheese grinder with... what the menu calls a Cheeseburger Soup... no lie. Micky just looked to me to explain what I meant, when I didn’t, he looked to Eunhyuk.

And Monkey said. “The girls are on to you again.” Micky sighed, and sat down. The only times we ever fight (over something serious) is when the topic of our “secret relationship” comes up. Now, I know what you're thinking (yes, you people who read my thoughts!) Why would I, after all the stress and strife I suffered when it came to hiding my family secret, want to go and hide another one? It’s simple. When word got out that my two eldest brothers were actually my parents, all hell broke loose in school. Not to mention, the coming out of Dad being gay. It seems that most of the school already suspected Mom was. Which doesn’t make sense to me, they both act pretty much the same. So how could one seem more “gay”, then the other? Anyway, it took months for things to settle down. Months, for me to be able to walk down the hall without being bombarded with tons of questions from people I have never talked to, or walk into a room without getting stared at for not five, but ten, TEN, minutes. So like I said before, the reason is simple, I just don’t feel like being in the center of the school’s attention again, at least not so soon. I had told all this to Micky and he said he understood, yet he also does things like try and hold my hand when we walk in the hallways. So he clearly does not understand. Or maybe he does. and he just doesn’t care.

“It was a lot worse last year, when he was obsessed with Joo Eun.” Eunhyuk said out of the blue.

“I wasn’t obsessed with Joo Eun.” I said.

“Great, you're back.” Micky said. Great, now he's saying random things too. Or maybe I just didn’t hear him right...

“Then how did you know I was talking about you?” Monkey questioned. I chose to ignore it.

“Where did I go?” I asked Micky.

“You tell me, it’s your head after all.”

“What the heck are you.... whatever.” I said as I saw Sungmin and Joo Eun (yes, she still sits with us), and a bunch of other people, make their way over to the table.

“So, what did I miss?” Sungmin asked as he sat down. He still sits next to me. Micky sits across from me, and Joo Eun sits next to Micky, across from Eunhyuk, who is on my other side. Then everyone else just sits wherever.

“The girls in my last block class were trying to figure out who Micky likes again, but the difference this time is they want to know since prom is coming up.” Eunhyuk explained.

“Yeah, in like a month. And it’s the Junior - Senior prom, we can’t go.” Sungmin said.

“Yeah, but they're girls.” Monkey said. Sungmin just nodded his head in understanding.

“Hey, I’m a girl, anyway, I thought the word was that Yoo Chun oppa, likes Junsu oppa.” Why all the girls call us “oppa” when we’re the same age, is beyond me. Just like I don’t know why they started pronouncing it with two “P’s”. Must be a girl thing.

“I thought it’s Donghae now.” I said casually.

“Nah, that was last week, cause of how those two acted in their Nutrition class, but now it’s back to you.” She said.

“But why is it back to me?”

“Because the two of you ride one bike home together.” She then took a bite of her... I think it was a chicken nugget.

“Well yeah, how else he is going to be able to get to my house after school, walk there?” I knew riding the same bike would be a bad idea... how did I ever let Micky convince me to agree to it.

“Well, what is he going over your house for?”

“I’ve already said this, to someone, maybe not to you, but anyway, he comes over so we can work on our performance for the talent show.”

“Everyday?”

“I don’t go over everyday, he works after school, or has soccer practice, most days.” Micky said.

“Well, if it’s not Jun Su oppa, then who do you like, you only hang out with him?” I wonder how many times Micky has had to answer/avoid this question by now? But just like every time I’m around to hear it, I tense up just a little bit, waiting for his answer.

“How do you know he’s the only one I hang out with, what do you think I do when he’s at work?” What does he do when I’m at work? Joo Eun sucked in her breath.

“Oh, you hang out with your crush then, don’t you?”

“Maybe.” MAYBE! Calm down, he’s just lying, you know who his “crush” is. Still, he didn’t have to lie so well.

“Oh, who is it Yoo Chun oppa, really?”

“Really?”

“Yes.”

“You’ll find out soon enough.”

“I will!”

“She will?” I butted in. I couldn’t help it. That caught me off guard. Crap, I shouldn’t have said that, now I have Sungmin looking at me funny again. Crappers.

“Yes, she will.” Micky said.

“Oh, my god, I’m gonna be right back, okay.” Joo Eun then took off and over to a table that was all girls. That can’t be good.

“Micky, why won’t you tell people the truth, are you ashamed of being gay?” Sungmin asked. WHAT?

“Why do you think I’m really gay?”

“Xiah already told me you like him.” Micky looked to me.

“Oh, so you can tell whoever you want, but I can’t.”

“Oh, yeah, I did tell him... but it happened right after you told me... I was still in shock.” I explained.

“That’s true, he told me the day you announced your love for him in a semi - empty English classroom.” Sungmin said.

“Oh yeah, I remember you telling me about that, in that e - mail you wrote me.” Monkey added.

“You told him in an e - mail.” Micky said. I didn’t like where any of this was going. This would just lead to another fight.

“Can we please change the subject?”

“We will, right after Micky answers my question.” Said Sweet Pumpkin.

“Which was?” Micky asked.

“Are you ashamed of being gay?” Micky didn’t say anything for a couple of seconds. But then he did say something that threw us all off guard.

“Are you?” What? Sungmin’s not gay... right?

“W - What?”

“Are... you?” Sungmin didn’t say anything, he and Micky had some weird staring contest. I mean they blinked and all, but the stares... were intense.

“You’re smarter then you look, Micky Yoochun.”

“Thanks... hey, what a minute...”

“Well, I’ll see you guys later.” And just like he does everyday, ten minutes before the end of lunch, Sungmin took off.

“Wait, what just happened here?” I asked Micky as I watched Sungmin exit the cafeteria.

“Oh, not much, just that Sungmin and I now have a mutual understanding for why we do the things we do... for the ones we love.”

“The ones you love... wait, who does Sungmin love... he’s not gay... right?”

“He’s no more gayer than I am.” Micky said. It took me a second to get what that meant. SUNGMIN IS GAY! How did I not know this?

“Wait, I still haven’t figured it out... who’s gay now?” Eunhyuk asked. But neither of us got to answer him because Joo Eun came back. Throughout the rest of lunch, all I did was think about who it could be that Sungmin is in love with, or why he hasn’t told me, or how Micky seems to know, but I clearly don’t, or why everybody seems to be turning gay lately... what’s next, am I going see Donghae and Monkey making out in the back of a classroom next? ... ooo... weird image. And it was just too many questions for one lunch period.

Lunch ended with the one cop in our school telling us we could leave.

By the way, we are now in our second term of our Sophomore year. Since lunch is now over, we have one more class to go before the end of the school day. Besides my Nutrition class, my next class, Biology, is quickly becoming one of my favorites. And it’s not because I like science or anything, in fact the whole subject confuses the hell out of me. What was the difference between mitosis and meiosis again? The reason I like the class is because the desks are these big, long, black lab tables. Giving people plenty of room to put all their books and junk on the desks, and note passing is a breeze. The teacher is also the best, in fact, she lets us pick where we want to sit, and as long as we’re good, it’s where we can sit for the rest of the year (just like in my Chemistry class last term). Monkey and Micky are in my class, and I sit between the two in the second row. This is why I like the class so much; it features my two favorite guys.

I was the first one (out of us three) to walk into the Biology room, and I put my stuff down by my seat. Then I did what me and Monkey have sort of made into our tradition in our class. We go over to the back of the room, and located there are three big tanks, the first one has fish, the second one has turtles, and the third one has a garden snake. Eunhyuk and I were given the job (after begging the teacher), of feeding the fish. And we are also allowed to play with the turtles (cause we’re good students). So after we feed the fish, we would go pick up the turtles. We talk to them, and make them race on the desk’s surfaces. My turtle, Franklin, wins every day. Eunhyuk claims it’s because his turtle, Tinky Winky, has shorter legs than Franklin.

Once Monkey showed up, the turtle tradition began. Micky doesn’t play with us because he says he’s trying to keep his reputation of being a “cool” guy, intact. I think it’s because he’s afraid of turtles. I put Franklin back in his tank, after congratulating him on his win in the race of course, and headed back to my seat. As soon as I sat down, there was a note from Micky, (I assume it’s from him), on my desk. I picked it up as I sat down.

The note read: Hey sexy, what’s up?

I quickly closed the note again and looked to see if anyone had seen. Eunhyuk already knew, so it didn’t matter, but this kid Won Hee was right behind me... but I don’t think he saw. I glared at Micky.

“Don’t write stuff like that.” I whispered to him. Micky leaned in close to me, either it was because I whispered, or because he wanted to make me get all nervous. I looked around to see who was paying attention to us, no one was, except the teacher... crap that’s not good.

“What, I can’t ask you what’s up?” I backed away from him a little, to a “friendly” distance. None of this would really matter (the whole guys talking close thing), if there wasn’t an actual rumor going around that Park Yoochun was gay, and that was trying to convert me to his “queer ways”. He is supposedly trying to convert Donghae too, but I don’t know how people came up with that one. Maybe it’s because the three of us have Nutrition together, and in Nutrition people work in groups of three, so naturally we became a group, nothing fishy about it. Anyway, its the rumor that most people have latched onto for the past couple of months now (I guess it’s dead now, with that prom one taking it’s place).

“You know what you can’t write.” I said. He pouted. Oh why did he have to flaunt his lips at me now!? I just glared at him harder.

“You know, I really do wish you weren’t so mean to me while we are in school.” I stopped glaring.

“I’m not mean to you.” I said, he just stared at me. “And even if I am, it’s only because you do stuff that makes me mad.”

“Compliments make you mad?”

“You know what makes me mad, Micky.” He sighed.

“I just don’t get what you're afraid of.” Not this again.

“It’s not that I’m afraid.... Are we really going to get into this, again!” I might have said that a bit too loudly, for now the whole class was looking in our direction and they had gone into “whisper mode”. And did I just hear the phase “trouble in paradise” whispered behind me!? I turned to look, kids refused to meet my gaze, so I just gave up and turned back.

Another note appeared on my desk. I reluctantly opened it. It read: I’m sorry, please don’t be mad at me, Junnie. - Micky Yoochun

I gave a big sigh and looked down, trying to hide my smile, I wanted him to think I was still mad for just a little bit longer, serves him right for teasing me with his tempting lips. Micky then laid his head on the desk, and he had his face turned away from me. Okay, now I felt bad. I leaned in, and went near his ear.

“I’m not mad anymore.” I said. He turned his head to face me, but still had his head laying on the desk. He smiled at me, I smiled back. Then the teacher came up and hit Micky on the head with an eraser for having his head on the desk (class had actually started like ten minutes ago). We both laughed.

Biology really is becoming one of my favorite classes. But almost all too soon, the class came to an end. We all lined up by the door like we aren’t suppose to, but certain teachers just gave up on that rule after trying to enforce it during the first few months of school... and failing.

“So what are you two doing after school, working on that song thingy?” Monkey asked me.

“You bet.” I said.

“And it’s not a song “thingy”, it’s musical masterpiece.” Micky said as he stared at the ceiling, and stood up straighter.

“Yeah, it’s not too bad so far.” I added. Micky’s whole body hunched over.

“You know, we really need to work on your complimentary skills, or lack there of.” He said. I just stuck my tongue out at him as the bell signaling the end of the school day, rang. During the long ring, Micky quickly moved his mouth to my ear.

“Is that tongue an offering?” I forgot how to breath. It was a good thing we were standing in the back of the line because I had also forgotten how to walk as the other students started filing out. It was official, Micky Yoochun is capable of making my heart beat faster, while my body stands still, and my brain turns to mush. It’s incredible really; that feeling. I tried to brush off Micky's comment like it was nothing, but I couldn’t wipe the stupid grin off my face as the three of us left the school building.

On the way out of the building, Eunhyuk and I told Micky about our crazy soccer practice yesterday. A deer, A DEER, came out onto the field, in the middle of one of our drills. And instead of running from humans, like deer usually do, this one had a vendetta against Donghae, it started running AFTER HIM.

It was hilarious. First, you would see Donghae running, then the deer, then Eunhyuk and I ran after the deer, while our friend, Kiwon, ran after us with his camera phone. He’s making doubles of the photos as we speak. I think those pictures should be in the yearbook, though it might be too late for that. Oh well.
