I'm back from Otakon, and it was amazing.

Our Prince of Tennis gathering was a gathering of epic proportions, in that it started Saturday afternoon and lasted for the remainder of the con. XD You guys are all so awesome, I love you! I miss you already~

Other highlights include:

The Yuugiou gathering on Friday, where faded_lace and chiachiaamichan got to take pictures

And Saeki and I were discussing how exactly we ought to find ourselves on that TV thing... she said she was going to search NicoNico for it, so hopefully she'll come up with something. XD;

I've actually been reading my flist and email and stuff for a couple hours, you just didn't know it since you weren't on aim XD But I'm going to bed after this.

Ah. XD;;; I breezed through my flist in like 15 minutes and then tried to watch ShitenMyu with britkit27 but we were legit falling asleep. XD;;; So I had to go to bed... and now I have to go deal with children >____<

XD;; Let me know how Shitenmyu is once you actually watch it. And I should bring dvds over sometime this week to watch... Maybe Thursday, if we manage to do the photoshoot on Wednesday? If you're busy then I guess I could come over tomorrow and bake pie before the shoot on Wednesday...

Haha, actually, the whole time we were like, "Hm, I wonder if Saeki's here..." but of course we had no idea who you were at the time. XD;; I didn't really know much at all about Johnny's before, but I definitely have to check out some of the groups now. Which ones are your favorites?

Yeah, I'm definitely open to recs! Where do you usually get their music? I know of a couple general j-pop communities that I've gotten stuff from before, but I haven't looked specifically for Johnny's stuff yet.

I was planning on using the Johnny's wiki page to remember the band names, but as for the dramas I have no idea... There was that one that looked pretty amusing. But I have no idea XD; But I'll definitely pass along music recs!

Aw, thanks. And Higa really doesn't get enough love. Hopefully I'll get back on track with my Higa rp with Miranda soon, and then you'll get to read that eventually... I can link you to the few fics I've read of them, but Miranda probably already has since I think we stalked the same places for Higa fic.

The gathering was made of so much awesome that we could have definitely killed the dinosaurs even without a Tezuka. :3

The Japanese tv interview thing was so weird. xDD I'd like to see what they said about it? xD

The L movie was so bizarre and confusing that after a while I stopped trying to read the subtitles around the tall guy in front of me and just enjoyed L being adorable with that child who is apparently Gakuto and the math kid (Near? oh so lost. xD) He's so cute in his little crepe truck. ♥

I hope you sort out the business with your driver's license! :<

I was really lost about the Near thing too, because I haven't read the manga or anything, I'd only seen the other two movies...but apparently it doesn't make sense either way? idk XD;; But yes. Adorable. ♥

Haha, I've read the manga and that movie still made absolutely no sense to me. xDD I haven't seen the other two movies though, so I was thinking that maybe with those it would make more sense...but apparently not? xD Good to know it's insane all around, haha.
