Wow, I'm tired! It's been a rather full and busy weekend, but in a very good way. On Friday, fings had the closing on his new condo in the Jersey City Heights, I went along with him for moral support and such. Heehee, fings thought I should have just slipped in the news chronologically and non-chalantly, but I went for the big bang at the end. I figured there would be those who would suspect once they saw the lj-cut, and others who would be surprised.

I'm glad you are happy for us!

And I'm glad you like "Katschatten", I figured since hubby used "kat" in his lj moniker, it would cover the whole ground :).

Wow - congrats! I just had a feeling when I started reading this that that might have happened. Which is weird, since I don't actually know you and haven't seen Fings in years! The ring is beautiful, congratulations!

The ring looks awesome. Heh, good job of being non-chalant about the engagement, I totally didn't expect it in this post. Sneaky sneaky :-p.

I'm really happy for both of you though, can't wait to hear more about the plans :)

Yes, I was sneaky-sneaky, which is fitting since the proposal was done in a sneaky-sneaky fashion. I'll have to post about that later on.
