I don't know who said it, but it's definitely what I thought after I watched The L Word. I don't really like this 6-season-long lesbian show, I probably just don't like any American TV show, but I got hooked up by one of the characters in TLW, and of course it's Shane...who can resist her?

Haven't watched the show at all, but I know about because of Dr. House XD (He's supposed to be a fan).

She does look like the typical pretty JE boy. I'd totally go gay for her.
AND I totally go gay for Jin if I were a boy, btw.

But I also admire Mia Kirshner's feminine beauty.

honestly I don't recommend this show...it's boring and cheesy and typical American drama like...

I just had a big crush on Shane...so I couldn't help myself==||||| I basically only watched her part after season 1.

Shane is really really sexy. She can definitely turn every straight girl on~XD I didn't think about JE boys tho...but you are right, at least several JE guys are really good-looking.

Mia Kirshiner is fine but her character's totally annoying~>< and I can't stand her way of delivering lines tbh...

Sorry for just popping up here, but I saw I followed the pictures of Shane on the FFA here to your LJ~ I, also, just have a huge crush on Shane^^. There's just something about her. I'm a fan of androgynous beauties^^.

I've watched the series off and on, so I didn't know what was happening most of the time. I didn't even realized that some people had died or left. O_o

Shane's just always been my favourite^^ I agree with this: she doesn't belong to anyone. Shane should never grow up, never age and never change. Shane was just so sexy. I adored her. She was so irresistible. <333

FFA = arama's free for all. :) When I saw them, I was just like, 'whoa, Shane!'

I know, after seeing this post, I just felt like looking up a bunch of videos. Shane has always been my favourite~ I've liked her the most with Carmen. Oh, Shane. :D

Well, I haven't watched the L world yet. But if you have any interest in the gay/lesbian theme, I recommend Queer as Folk to you. There, the main character, Brian Kinney, bears a few resemblances to Shane in terms of lifestyle and mentality. His "I don' do relationship" definitely matches with that of Shane's. Also, QAF is really a wonderful exploration into gay people's life with all its peculiar aspects. The love storyies are also wonderful, especially the ones between Brin and Justin, and Ben and Micheal. If you haven't watched it, watch it.

I watched the first ep of QAF, somehow I didn't like it so I quited right after. However you are right, Brian did have lots of resemblance to Shane. I'm not particularly interested in gay/lesbian dramas...I think it was all because Katherine Moennig's charisma worked on me, so I kept watching the L word. All in all, the drama is just so so and even the character of Shane was not greatly written or developed.
