 Honestly I don't want to discuss this new LJ policy, I never wanted to. 
But, you know, I'm Russian, I live here and I'm planning on staying here of course. I've read the agreement but I generally didn't really get it, I never get such things LOL But I tried to read it carefully. And, well, it was like nothing new.
We have weird anti-terrorism law

I think I know what you mean. I have a Russian friend so I am not that surprised about this whole topic. Actually I don't really get what all the fuzz is about. Nothing new, nothing surprising here. I think a reason for this panic that is going on is also, because the West and Western medias tend to put Russia in the darkest light as possible and are afraid of everything that comes from there (a lot is propaganda to make their own countries look better in comparison).
Anyway. In short, I think it's not worth to complain about it so much because nothing is going to change just because of the policy.

I think people will calm down later. Because we were also panicking, thinking that omg everything is going to be awful, we are being controlled, what a dictatorshipbut now we don't really remember about it lol.

I don't think much has changed either.. It sounds like the same thing I heard before.. I think every time there's an update people remember about it again, so they think about changing..
