Basically, the same thing that happened with Yunho and Jaejoong, that's why it was hurting him so much to have to see his beloved "umma" and "appa" go through it too. Kibum wanted more time and for people to know about them, Minnie couldn't risk it, just like Yunho :3 Hope that cleared things up a little :D
