...and skyglider is working on a way to rate/recommend DVD's etc. In the mean time, will you post any recommendations for podcasts/videos/websites/books/teachers/authors/music here so I can sift through them and get a basic list going for the FAQs ( Read more... )

So cool that the Yin Yoga book is on your teacher training list! What kind of yoga are you training in? I am starting Vinyasa training in just a couple of weeks, and this is our required book list ( ... )

Ooo I'm going to have to steal some books off your list to read!

I would say our program is an Iyengar-based Hatha that incorporates different things from different traditions, but with a real focus on alignment. http://boundlessyoga.com/study/teacher-training/

Wai Lana's videos for Little Yogi's (children's dvd), and for the elderly. She modifies asanas for people who can't bend at the knees, etc.
