VH1 Classic has been showing 2009 videos in a row to kick off 2009, in alphabetical order by title. Last night they were in the "The" section, which made for a good random mix. My personal favorite: Spinal Tap's "The Majesty of Rock." When is Michael McKean going to run for Senate? Or for president on a ticket with Christopher Guest?

I think Guest's peerage eliminates him from being able to be veep or pres., very sadly. You will need another dream ticket!

Unfortunately, I flipped on the "The" section just in time to hear Billy Squier's "The Stroke." That gets my vote for most frightening song ever. Still, it's nice that VH1 Classic is actually showing videos. Starting tomorrow, the station turns back to being an endless commercial for Rock Band 2.
