But I know not the history of harpoons. Can it be said that a harpoon with the force to cause damage to the ichthyoid lifeforms hunted would predate the discoveries as of yet known to the planet of Melfes? Forsooth, such is the issue at hand.

I think nets would probably make sense even for bigger fish--possibly baited, because bait IS a good plan to attract them, but more likely tied to the net than to something separate. Intelligent beings who have evolved underwater could probably rig up lots of net-traps that would catch big fish... then you don't have to worry about the fish being scared away by you, you just come back later and bag whatever's been caught. I would not be surprised if crystal eres could also be used, though. There's that dynamite trick to kill fish--I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I think it involves concussive force, so an explosive/concussive/sonic eres would probably get fish too.

The issue I would have with net traps is that I can't think of any similar trap for larger game on land. But perhaps that's because, on the land, there wasn't this possible issue with projectile weapons and they didn't need to worry about setting those up, which might be less effective than trying to snare smaller animals.

So we can pretty much agree that whoever learned Maelstrom would probably be the big provider of food for the village. Just scoop them all up in a twister and there we go!

This site has some details on zodiac signs that you might find interesting. It explains the differences between mutable/cardinal, and possible health-related problems.

And this site has details about both the positive and negative aspects of a Gemini. Under the Gemini header at the top is a link for characteristics of a Gemini female, which will also help. I used a site similar to this one when I was making Walter's in-depth background years ago.

Oh, and Walter's a Leo (August 1) -- it goes well with his personality, and it helped with the whole duality with Leon. XD

Well, at least there's one person that a Gemini can get along with by sign. Ignore the argument over teriques use...and, depending on how things go, possibly one over the butterfly, because Fenimore is not going to be happy with the idea of having one of those inside ( ... )
