last night, Chris and I scored tix to see Rogers Waters at the Hollywood Bowl.  Garden seats, no less.  all I can say is it was Fucking AWESOME!!  He and the band played for about an hour (including a new song, "Leaving Beirut", that kicked butt), then took a break and came back to play Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety (Nick Mason, former Pink

i have to tell you this funny story about my coworker - he's the script coordinator on icoe, and he went to dark side on sunday at the bowl, but he got baked right before to enjoy the experience that much more. come to find out, as he's walking to his seat, he spots our executive producer walking toward him and he freaks out b/c he doesn't want emile (who funny enough is jack's partner on the pilot jack is shooting this coming pilot season)to see him high, so he averts his gaze and walks away from his seat, calls his brother and is saying, "omigod, my boss is here, i don't want him to see me like this!" when he hears behind him, "hey, mike!" he turns around and there's emile staring at him with the most bloodshot stoned out of his mind eyes mike has ever seen on a person, so he didn't feel so bad anymore. emile ended up sitting only two rows behind him anyways for the whole show.

i love hearing these bowl stories - glad you had an indescribable time! sounded like an absolute blast!

OMG, that's hilarious! we wished we'd had some weed, but alas, we were out. :( oh well, there was enough pot smokin' going on around us to give us a comfy contact high. ;)
