Oh yes. a phelps-a-thon. Where people are loving and hugging and NOT hating (even tho it's sooooo easy to hate phelps.

The Phelps-a-thon is awesome! *Almost* enough to make me wish he'd some here, so I could arrange one! I know of two other groups set up to foil Phelps:

Depending on what Phelps is there to protest, there are groups of bikers (easiest contact would be a call to the closest Harley Davidson dealer) who will line up between Phelp's crew and their target, and generate enough engine noise to drown them out.

A quieter approach is a group (I am sorry, I can't recall their names) who have special angel costumes with huge white wings that are tall enough that when they stand between Phelps and their target, completely block out their signs. Either (or both) might be useful, like I said, depending on what they are protesting.

Keep up posted; I am always thrilled to see Phelps foiled!
