In the last week, I:

* was asked out by a 21 year old hipster. Oh yeah, I still got it.
* went to a soup party (where everyone brought an ingredient and we ended up having spinach-barley-onion-yam-lentel-garlic soup with buns)
* have been obsessed with the band Minuit* bought a pair of technical winter boots for $22. Oh yeah, I still got it

Okay, you can't just say that you had a soup with random ingredients in it and not tell us how it tasted. Fess up!

It wasn't actually that bad! We sauteed the yams and onions in olive oil and garlic first and added a dash of pepper before the water. It wasn't the bestest soup I've ever tasted, but it wasn't bad... and I mostly didn't like it because I abhorr onions!

Whal, thanks! And I hope that damnable dishwasher gets fixed soon too, because washing all my dishes all the time is HARD. I make too many dishes, dammit!

I know what you mean - we don't have a dishwasher (well, sort of - it's me!), and I can't believe how much washing up we generate...
