It's always the way when a company's laying people off, the newbies who haven't been there long go first. It's nothing to do with you, it's just how it is. With agood reference, you'll get another job, no problem ::hugs::
I wish you could come to England too... just so I could talk to you more! Lol! I don't neccesaraly want a 'better' job, I really enjoyed that one, I just want to feel secure in my job. And I'm not sure I'm ever going to get taht feeling now...
I'm sorry to hear about your job. I have yet to score a job in the very tight, very demoralizing employment scene over here, so you have my sympathies. Glad to hear you'll get a good reference, and the more experience you can claim, the higher up the ladder you'll get, even if more slowly and with less security than would be ideal. Best of luck!
Thanks. I just want a nice full time job which is secure. Seems that a lot to ask these days, but there you go. Thanks for the words of comfort though and i hope things go well for you too.
*hugs* I'm sorry to hear it, babe. I wish you luck in finding something you are more comfortable and confident in, something you don't have to be scared going into. Try to enjoy your weekend, take your mind off things at least for that long before getting back into the game. It's always good to give your body a little rest after the emotional stress. Take care of yourself!
Yeah... I just want to feel secure in a full time job, you know? And things like this don't really help my self confidence. I did enjoy my weekend though and I had fun today just not thinking about it, I'll get back to the grind stone tomorrow though. In the mean time I might as well enjoy the time off...
