Oh, I love them all! Quite well done if rather dark. It's almost lyrical, very fluid and... I think very powerful even though you didn't use many words.

Just a nitpick: the way you spaced your fic made it a tad hard to read. I suppose it's easier leaving a whole line and then separating each situation with a * or something.

Anyway, thanks for sharing. Definitely memorying this!

I'm very glad you liked it. Sorry about the spacing but I felt it was needed for this fic, due to the drabble-length of each bit. And I'm glad your memorising it, gives me the warm fuzzies!

I really like these. It's Joan's reactions more than anything that make them, you've got her sense and her understanding of how things have to be down so well. Love the last lines of the last two in particular - you've got a way of writing with such feeling and bitterness in simple words and phrases that's deeply effective.

YAY! I wrote it after reading so many reaction posts where people said it was almost sad that this, that, and the other hadn't happened. But really I don't think The Doctor and Joan could ever really work. Indeed, in some ways it's why I don't think that a Doctor/Companion relationship could ever really work because he's just so... different. He's not human and, if he was, then something very primal would be lost from the universe.

I'm not a great lover or believer in The Epic Doctor thing that this series and, indeed, this Season seems to be doing, but I do like elements of it and I do believe that, if the Doctor did END in some way then the universe would loose something very special and very primal.

Basically, yeah, I just liked writing Tradgedy and this seemed ripe foer it. And I love writing drabbles because it enables me to just have fun with the language rather than the plot.

So thanks for the review!
