Why such the hate for the American Cheese! It is the best (with a touch of swiss) for grilled cheese!

I have no hate for american. It is best for grilled cheese and cheeseburgers. But that doesn't make cheese snobbery, and the large and delightful world of cheeses and cheese enthusiasts, any less funny. :)
