Prompt Post - Part Ten

Mar 11, 2012 17:03

I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

If there is anything I haven't responded to, as of now, I'm ( Read more... )

all the batsiblings have a crush on wally, and they try to woo him in different ways.

BONUS: they're all younger than dick

BONUS2: they try to court him the bat way so it's extremely subtle, and after a while they get impatient and one of them just kisses him.

Wally is stupid smart. He graduates high school with a higher than 4.0 GPA, more awards and trophies for academic competitions than you can shake a stick at, and an article detailing one of his experiments already published in a national science journal ( ... )

It’s late in the night when the three of them finally make it back to the Batcave, bruised and a little sore, but thankfully with no major injuries.

Alfred is waiting for them, and Dick catches the look or relief before it’s hidden behind his general Britishness.

Jason, seeming to have completely forgotten that he was ever upset, begins to regale him with a story of the night. “It was awesome, Alfred! They had Bruce, and me and Dick -“

“Dick and I, Master Jason.”

“Dick and I dropped down, and WHAM! BAM! KAPOW!“A most rousing story ( ... )

For those of you wondering characters and ages are thus

Wally - 18, almost 19

Dick - 16

Jason - 12

Cass - 9

Tim - 8

Steph - 8

Damian - 3

Terry < 1

Terry is going to be Bruce's kid with Selina ala Black Cat, because adorableness and I love Terry. Damian's mom is still Talia.

I'm glad you're enjoying it XD

And yeah, I'm finally giving in and doing a Batsibling fic, and while I've started to enjoy seeing Damian around here sometimes there was no way I was going to be able to leave out Terry <3

Besides, I think by the time Bruce got to seven kids under the age of eighteen all at the same time even he would admit to needing a little bit of extra help. And who better than Wally XD

I'm glad you did! It's amusing, and Barry+Iris are still around~ Taking care of Speedster kids and Bat brats totally make Wally the best childsitter around~ And even Alfred would find his hands full with seven kids, so Wally's a sanity saver, too XD

I'm glad that you like it XD

I've got a little bit more up now, and while I'm afraid that they aren't really being subtle it's subtle enough that Wally doesn't think anything of it. (But then again, this is Wally, so that isn't saying much XD)

Hopefully you'll continue to enjoy what I have planned. <3

At first Dick doesn’t even notice the change. Wally comes by a few days a week while Dick is at school to watch Damian and Terry freeing up Alfred and Bruce to focus their free time on Cassandra’s tutoring. Every now and then when things get busy in Gotham he watches them while they go on patrol. And yeah, sometimes he helps when the two of them are hanging out even though everyone is in the mansion and technically Bruce and Alfred can handle it, but it’s not a big deal ( ... )

Wally learned sign language from Hartley Rathaway, otherwise known as the Pied Piper, his former enemy turned good friend. Hartley learned sign language because he was born deaf.

Cassandra Cain-Wayne was never taught how to speak, not any language as we would think of it. Instead she was taught to read bodies. The movement, the intention, the motive, the meaning.

She’s a smart girl, but learning English is hardWally starts signing when he speaks to her a few weeks after he begins to frequent the Wayne Manor, a habit of using it whenever he’s around people that have trouble communicating picked up from following and being dragged on Hartley’s volunteer work. He doesn’t even realize it, used to talking with his hands in one form or another all the time, until suddenly she steps forward, and points intensely at his moving hands ( ... )
