Despite feeling sick, Wally read the page again, once, twice, five times. More than enough times until he's memorized the report.
And each time he finished, his eyes wandered to the familiar face in the photo: Roy Harper, five years younger, face stricken with horror and anger as he struggled against the men that held him back from his younger brother trapped under the rubble. His younger brother who had to have his arm amputated because it was beyond saving. His younger brother who is still in a comma to this very day.
And could possibly never open his eyes ever again.
(On a side note, can someone link me to that prompt where the team volunteers at a hospital or the like? I think it was suppose to be an AU setting.)
